Trim Body M.D. believes in staying on the cutting edge of healthcare technology. The increased use of AI across all industries invites telehealth professionals to ask themselves questions about how they can use updated AI models to improve patient care and access to healthcare treatments.
Beginning this year, undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to lend their voice to the team’s conversations about AI–and for a financial reward! The Future of Remote Care Scholarship offers $2,500 to a student who can present a critical argument advocating for increased and improved use of AI in the weight loss and anti-aging fields.
Applicants have until August 31, 2025, to submit scholarship videos making their case.
Who Is Eligible?
Trim Body M.D. invites undergraduate and graduate students from all areas of study to apply for The Future of Remote Care Scholarship. However, applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify:
- Students must be enrolled in or accepted at a United States-accredited college, university, or graduate school
- Students must submit all essential application materials
- Students must agree to the scholarship’s terms and conditions
To apply for The Future of Remote Care Scholarship, students must specifically create a two- to three-minute video addressing the use of AI in the weight loss and anti-aging industry. After completing their video, Trim Body M.D. expects students to fill out the application form on this page.
Students should then add a URL link to their video essay. The scholarship selection committee cannot consider applications submitted without a video essay or any other essential materials.
Scholarship Video Topic

Our scientific research and innovative technologies ensure that we can meet our clients’ needs. Today, we invite scholarship applicants to consider the transformative influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on the field.
We want students to create a two- to three-minute video answering the question: what influence might AI have on telehealth in the weight loss and anti-aging industries? Can increased use of AI improve operational efficiency or increase healthcare access?
Students’ videos should specifically demonstrate how AI addresses telehealth and remote care challenges. Discuss how AI might influence patient engagement, diagnostic accuracy, and personalized care. Once you’ve finished, please upload it to YouTube as an unlisted video. You can then share a link to that video along with your scholarship application form.
How to Create a Scholarship Video
Students creating scholarship videos for The Future of Remote Care Scholarship should record their videos in well-lit and quiet spaces. Trim Body M.D. encourages students to hold their recording devices as still as possible, either with or without the use of a tripod.
Students should include the following information at the start of their videos:
- The applicant’s full name
- The name of the scholarship the student is applying for
- Credits about information shared in the video
- The names of media editing tools used to create a video
Students should only use copyright-free content when creating their videos. Students may use AI to generate B-roll for their videos. However, the use of AI to generate fake characters, modify a student’s voice, write a video script, or create a video wholesale will see an applicant disqualified from the applicant pool.
While the team encourages students to use media tools like Adobe Creative Cloud to create eye-catching edits in their videos, Trim Body M.D. does not require its applicants to use these tools. The scholarship selection committee will select a scholarship winner based on the quality of a student’s efforts to address the scholarship prompt, not their video editing skills.
Scholarship Application Deadline
Students have until August 31, 2025, to apply for The Future of Remote Care Scholarship. Trim Body M.D. and its scholarship selection committee will not consider applications filed after this deadline. Students should double-check and ensure they’ve included all of the scholarship’s required materials before finalizing their applications.
Trim Body M.D. reserves up to three months to choose a winner from its application pool. During that time, we cannot accept emails, calls, or other forms of communication asking questions about the scholarship. We cannot inform students or their families of the status of a student’s application.
Terms and Conditions
All applicants to this scholarship must meet the eligibility requirements as laid out on the scholarship application page, including the following:
- Applicant must be enrolled at a college, university, or graduate school
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old at the age of enrollment
- Applicant must have residency in the United States
- Applicant must be in good academic standing
- Applicant must submit some personal information, including name, contact information, and academic information.
- Applicant must author an original essay/video on the scholarship essay topic provided.
Anyone who meets the following conditions is NOT eligible to apply:
- Employees or children of employees of Trim Body, MD
- Past recipients of The Future of Remote Care Scholarship
- Applicants who are unable/unwilling to be interviewed by a representative of Trim Body M.D. if they were to be awarded a scholarship.
- Applicants who submit the same video for multiple scholarships or for multiple years in a row
Selection & Award Notification Process
Age, race, religion, gender, national origin, familial status, or other protected classes will have no influence on the committee’s decision. Trim Body M.D. and its scholarship selection committee reserve up to three months to select a scholarship winner after the application deadline passes.
Unfortunately, the team cannot answer any questions about application status or the nature of winner selection at this time. Non-winners will not receive emails or other forms of communication informing them of their losses.
Trim Body M.D. will announce the name and achievements of its winning student on the team’s blog. The winning student can also expect Trim Body M.D. to release a press release celebrating their successes. Afterward, Trim Body M.D. will send the winner’s award to the college or university of their choosing.
